State Route 96 East near Pinkerton Park

Franklin, TennesseeOct 16, 20082 Comments

Cops and one officer in particular stand out in the road with a radar gun and flag cars over into the park for speeding. The speed limit is 30 mph. I got a ticket from the same officer twice and my husband got a ticket too. When I went to court everyone at court was complaining about the same officer! I guess the whole city should be listed as the tickets were from everywhere and even the judge called the officer a regular.

Interstate 65 near Cool Springs Boulevard

Franklin, TennesseeAug 21, 20070 Comments

In the median of the expressway between the Cool Springs Blvd exit and Hwy 96, a State Trooper will sit and wait on someone to speed by. They are usually there during morning or evening rush hour. Make sure you are aware of the HOV lanes (that’s their usual reason for stopping someone). Also with the construction going on, make sure that you are going the speed limit.
