Forest Hill Irene just north of 385

Just across from the cemetery, there is often a car parked in the center, turn lane. Usually facing south. I’ve seen them pull people over – I even stood on the side of the road one day when I was walking the dog, trying to motion people to slow down.

Cordes south of Farmington Elementary

G’town’s finest likes to sit down the hill facing north into the school zone. Problem is there are tow streets that dead end into Cordes between the two 15 mph warning lights that only come on at certain times of the day. You cannot see these lights at either end of the zone when you enter the zone between them. Bam they got you doing 25 or 30 in a 15 and you are never aware when the lights came on. Solution: revolving lights that can be seen inside the zone where these streets enter. $135.+

Farmington Blvd & Cordes Cir

The Germantown Police patrol this street often. The area along this stretch is divided four lane with a few residential streets intersecting on one side, and a park on the other. Heading west, Wolf River Blvd, which is 40mph turns into Farmington Blvd, which is 35mph. Slow down, even if it is agonizing. They are not nice.

Poplar Ave & Oakleigh Ln

This area of Highway 72 is 6 lanes, 3 in each direction with center turn lane. The speed limit is set at 40 MPH. Police like to sit in the parking lots at churches or doctors offices and run radar. They also like to sit off the shoulder behind trees and catch those going East. There are normally 2 officers sitting there almost all day.
