Goodlettsville, Tennessee Speed Traps
On 65-S between mile markers 104-108
The were two cops on each side of highway, each at different exists, just posted & all blacked out
Main street
School zone trap with no crossing guard, no speed cones, and the flashing light is located next to a 35 mph sign with its own flashing light stays on hours after school is in session. Also a friend of mine ( NOT ME ) was issued a ticket for 29 mph at 11:39 am with not light, guard or cones in the 35 mph zone..
right side, set in few hundred feet by trucking company
Coming down 41 from Ridgetop towards Goodlettsville. Just as you pass Williamson rd. on the right behind the tree line. It goes from 50 to 40..gets ya every time
Off Dickerson, on New Brick Church pass the Cowboy Church
This is pretty sad, being that this road is just travelled by mostly locals. I have lived here for years. A couple of weeks ago a Goodletsville cop was hiding after the curve when you come down past Hitt Lane. The sign all of a sudden goes from 30 to 25 on the curve (very hard to see), especially when you are coming down from a 40 degree steep drop. Usually your car rolls at 40.
Afterwards, there is no Speed signs for over a mile… but the cop said it was marked 25 all the way. However, coming from the other direction it is marked 40 mph. Another police rackett…but it’s sad when it’s in a small town.
