on highway leaving Greenfield and headed toward Bradford.
on way to a child’s party. had car full of kids (pre teen). we were pulled over and when asked why we were told we sure were talking and laughing a whole lot. 30 yr old preacher driving, wife in passenger seat. 3 pre teens in back . all in seat belts. not exceeding speed limit. passenger had head turned to side chatting with kids.

Speed limit drops to 30mph in the center of town on a wide 4-lane with central turning lane. Hardly any traffic ever, so it’s hard to pace speed. Signs are TINY! Watch during school hours for small blinking lights that indicate speed drops to 20mph, even though the school is 2 blocks away and not in sight. Check police station across railroad tracks. If there’s less than 3 cruisers parked then somebody is out patroling.

Speed Zones are reduced from 65 to 45 in a 100 yard Zone. This area has no dirveways for businesses connecting to the HWY. Four lane cuts the center of town and at one point speed is reduced to 35MPH.
