Portions of this road deserve a 30 MPH limit, but for the entire length, this is a painfully slow speed – however the area at the bridge just lends itself to higher speeds, being long, clear, wide, and basically flat – they clock you leaving Hendesonville – no "breaks" unless they know you and judge goes along with this revenue production system

Police sit under the 386 Bypass bridge and catch south bound speeders on Gallitin Road (31E). Cars and motorcycles normally during daylight hours.

You’ll see cops hiding behind bushes, near 18-wheelers, and in dark parking lots everyday. In Hendersonville, they’ll pull you over for no reason other than they’re bored.
