State Highway 412 near State Route 412
Comming out of Jackson from I40 on to 412 to Dyersburg, they hit out of staters hard, most locals know about the traps but still get cited.

Jackson TN, Interstate 40 and state highway 412 between Jackson and Dyersburg; some of the most tax law enforcement on earth.
US Highway 45
Be cool! There’s almost always a Trooper facing north at the bridge coming into Jackson between Three Way and the Highland exit, right across from Porter-Cable. He’s found a good spot. It’s almost impossible to see him until you’re past him.
I-40 east & west exits 81 to84 the posted speed is now 65mph but have gone 10 over with no prob as of 5/18/03

I40 Exit 79/80/81/82
Painted THP cruiser, but darkened windows and no Flashing Light Bar on roof. Enter I40 going east from Exit 82, into (supposedly marked 55MPH zone) cruiser approaching west detects and crosses interstate median and catches up just as the first 70 MPH sign is encountered. Apparently there is a marked 55MPH zone between exits 79 and 82, but ends shortly after exit 82 going east, with little or no marking.
