Lebanon, Tennessee Speed Traps
Toshiba Drive right after turn off of Carver lane
If You are heading up Carver lane off of Lebanon RD/West main and you turn onto Toshiba lane, he/she sits in that parking lot right next to the storage shed place right after those red brick duplex/townhomes. You cant see him when you turn off of Carver but you can if you are coming from Hartmann you may see him before he paints you. The SL is 30MPH on that road but most people go 40 or more because there is little or no traffic on that road.
Maple St between W Baddour Pkwy and Route 40
Traffic enforcement is traditionally heavy on this stretch of road. The speed limit is 30 mph!
Don’t exceed the limit! Many many speeding citations are written along this route and it is heavily patrolled. 30 MPH means 30 MPH or less, not 30+. Exceed the speed at your own peril. Oh, did I say it’s heavily patrolled?
State Highway 109 near Interstate 40
From Interstate 840 to Interstate 40 on Highway 109 it is a complete trap. It is straight and flat with 4 lanes like an interstate. I’ve had 4 tickets on this road and most all people who have ever commuted via this road have been ticketed. This highway is fairly new so the Lebanon city police patrol it quite often. Most of my tickets were early in the morning. Just watch out and set your cruise control. I’ve also been ticketed because the car that was speeding got away and I was an easier target (even though I was on cruise control not speeding). I’ve been paced and pulled over after driving behind a truck with a trailer. I asked the officer why he didn’t pull over the vehicle in front of me who was obviously going faster. He replied "I can only pull over one car at a time."
Franklin Road Under the Lebanon Airport Runway Road near The home depot off of South Hartman Drive
If you are leaving Home depot and take Franklin Road past the Outback, as you go under the runway for the Lebanon Airport, a cop is sitting on the otherside. You can’t see him because of the overpass.
Franklin Road near Lebanon Airport
This speed trap is southwest of the airport just passed the overpass. The police car sits in an access road, hidden by a burm if you are traveling west on Franklin road, towards Outback Steakhouse and Home depot.
