Martin, Tennessee Speed Traps

The speed limit drops from 55 to 45 in this little community just east of Union City. Of course, nowadays, highway 22 bypasses it entirely, but back before the new 22 opened up, the old highway 22 (now highway 431) passed right through it. There are a couple of hills there where it is easy for the THP to hide just anywhere. Be careful going through there. Don’t know if they watch it as carefully now as they did when it was highway 22, but be careful just the same.
