Speed limit abruptly changes from 40 to 30 with no warning signage. City cops watch this a lot looking for easy money.
South of McMurtry Rd on 31W as you get to bottom of hill.
speed on 31w is 45 mph yet the down sloping hill with no formal regulatory signage along the hill cause folks to coast. By the time they reach the bottom of the hill in this country atmosphere they are nail as they hit the flats doing easy 60mph from coasting. Traffic tickets are a main source of this tiny cities budget!

Williamson Road near US Highway 31 W Springfield Highway
Officer will park his car on the southbound side of Williamson Road approx. 3/4 mile from the US 31W/Williamson Road intersection. There is an inlet buried in the trees next to the creek and a curve that help to hide the car from view until you are on top of it. Common to have the car there especially more toward the end of the month (quota time)…but, they will be there throughout the month…particularly in the morning hours between 7 – 9 AM.
