They patrol this new shopping area like they have partial ownership in it??? I thought they could only enforce DUI or reckless driving on private property but they always have cars stopped in this new shopping area for speeding,stop signs etc. They need to do their enforcement in areas where the taxpayers live not at the new shopping area.

Police sit on either side of the Beckwith Road interchange and sometimes on the overpass and watch for folks exiting the freeway and traveling more than 35 when they reach the road. They also catch you coming downhill from the south. Mt. Juliet is well-known for their income-producing police force.
