US Highway 27 near Main Street
Normally positioned at the bottom of a steep hill coming into the North end of town. Speed drops from 55 to 35 in a very short distance. Be especially aware if on a motorcycle.

The main way they get you is coming South on Hwy 27 from the KY line, once you start entering Oneida, the speed limit goes directly from 55 to 35 and it tops a, you only have approx. 50 yards from the 55 MPH zone to the top of the hill where he will clock you in the 35 MPH zone. And Oneida TN thrives on getting "Out of State" (Kentucky) cars. So Beware. and the 10 MPH so called "Rule" doesn’t apply to them. They will get you.
