not only is piperton PD shooting radar on 385, they are positioning their vehicles whereby they will have to make a u turn in the interstate to run you down. just an accident waiting to happen. remember its all about revenue not safety. they’ll end up getting themselves or someone else killed. piperton was running radar on the new section the same day it opened up, it’ll only get worse.

Under Raleigh-LaGrange bridge that crosses the new 385.

Piperton PD could’nt wait for the new 385 to open. Their sitting under the Raleigh-LaGrange bridge that crosses over the newly opened 385 between Macon (Hwy 193) and Hwy 57. Go ahead PPD, cause an accident with your tactics. It’s not about safety, it’s about revenue. Maybe THP will have something to say about running radar on an interstate. You only have a short section in your jurisdiction. REALLY????? Do you ever stop?????

Hwy. 385 just before Hwy. 57 exit

Piperton, TennesseeMar 09, 20130 Comments

Heading East on Hwy. 385 just past the Hwy 72 exit the speed limit drops from 65 to 55 because this is where Hwy. 385 currently ends and you must exit onto Hwy.57. Piperton PD sits behind an embankment there just before the exit. When you exit onto Hwy. 57 the speed limit is 45 mph on all Piperton main streets. Some have been posting 55mph on Hwy. 57 in Piperton. This is incorrect.

As you leave Collierville heading east speed limit is 40 mph.
Better do 40 all the way to Rossville.
