Smyrna, Tennessee Speed Traps

a speedlimit of 30 miles just went up and is placed at a
"park entrance" no one knew a park was there. The speed limit has always been 40 and 45 miles per hour. Cops sit inside the park entrance with radar.

I’m not exactly sure on the times or the level of enforcement, but cruisers have been hanging out around the eletrical sub-station on Almaville Road. It is sort of a hidden spot, and really easy to miss, so it may be a new favorite for the police.

The parking lot of the First Baptist Church on Almaville Road has become a favorite spot for the time being. Police cars have been spotted during the day, and depending on the direction you’re going, you won’t see them until it’s too late because of a hill.

The Smyrna Police like to sit in the Highland Heights Church of Christ parking lot. Enforcement is especially heavy during the shift changes at the nearby Nissan plant, but they will sit there during the AM/PM rush hours, and sometimes during off-peak hours.
