Troy, Tennessee Speed Traps
On the hwy going to Union City.
You must go 45 MPH or you will get a ticket. Also, when school is in session you better do 15 MPH. Troy Tennessee has always been a speed trap.

Hanging sign is marked 20 or 30 — you can not tell. City office notified but will not fix it. I guess they don’t want to lose their money. TRAP!!
Hwy 51 south of Troy
You are out of town on 4 lane that is desolate,and nothing but farm fields all around.No sign to say you have left Troy or its 45 mph speed limit.
I resumed speed and was ticketed for 6mph over the 45 mph 21 steps from the 70 mph sign.This is a sad little town that uses passer bys as its revenue.

Troy Police Officers sit on a hill just north of the speed reduced sign which drops from 55 to 45. If you are not careful you will not realize that the speed have changed. Radar is heavily enforced at all times.
