Union City, Tennessee Speed Traps
KenTenn Road/Nailling Drive
I was pulled over for doing 57 in a 45 by an officer hiding just over a small hill in the parking lot of what was then known as the Community Chapel of Grace Church, Grace Community Chapel, or something like that. I was outbound in an area that had at that time only recently been annexed into the city of Union City. Had it not (yet) been annexed, the speed limit would have still been 55 in that area. Go on over the next hill or two, past Section Line Road, and the speed limit increases to 55 anyway.
Roving
Three White SUVs with camera operated radars. Speeders are photographed, and citations sent. These SUVs are located anywhere they wish to put them.
Everett Boulevard Bypass
On the West side of the road in the driveway that tractors use a police car sits with radar on. It is near the CO-OP and the newest Baptist Church. It is called Everett Road. The one that starts with Reelfoot Avenue and ends in South Fulton.
