Woodland Mills, Tennessee Speed Traps

As you approach the central part of the town from the North or South, Speed limits drop from 45, a resonable town speed, to 30, for an extended period of time. The disappointing part about this situation is that the City Council has tried to change the speed limit, and the State of Tennessee will not allow them to raise it without a thorough traffic study, which they will not conduct because they don’t really care. So, state troopers sit in the town center and ticket whatever unlucky motorists they can find. I was actually pulled over before and let go with a warning ticket because the trooper thought that the speed zone was a joke and outright told me so.
