Northbound PGBT between Belt Line Rd Toll Plaza and I-35E interchange is constantly under surveillance by City of Carrollton, State Troopers (DPS) and even Dallas County Constables (recently.) Not unusual to see two or more hapless motorists pulled over at the same time. Speed limit drops to 45 MPH even in Toll-tag only lanes, but they’re happy to bust you for going faster than the 60 mph the speed resumes to on the other side of the toll plaza. FYI, it’s a $300 ticket if you go 72 through the 45 zone…
Interstate 35E -Northbound Service Road near North of Beltline Road
Officers sit in the parking lot of the commercial strip mall and pull people over for going over the 35 MPH limit on a service road. Most service roads are 45 MPH. Be extra careful in this area during weekend evening and late weekend evenings.
Josey Lane Lane near Keller Springs Road
Motorcycle policeman sits just before the railroad track by the park entrance going North on Josey Lane before Keller Springs Road. You don’t see him until you are at the bottom of the hill because there are trees to block your view.
