Coppell, Texas Speed Traps
The entire city
All police use the speed limit and their traps for additional revenue. No tolerance is allowed. Very regimented. Courts are equally dismal.
Anywhere in Coppell
Beware of all Coppell police — due to the number of trees and small curves they hide everywhere in this town. They will ticket you for 2 miles over the speed limit. They show no mercy.
N. macarthur blvd and N. village pkwy
there is a gap in the middle of N. Macarthur blvd right infront of N village pkwy. In that gap, there is a cop car sitting there facing the direction one goes to lewisville. people coming from lewisville heading down N. macarthur blvd who tend to go 40-45 cant see the cop due to a slight curve and before your able to slow down, he nails you. (speed limit is 35).. that stretch of road is a 50/50 chance you get caught when speeding if not paying attention
N. Macarthur blvd and Waterside Dr.
heading down N. Macarthur blvd coming from lewisville there is a motorcycle cop who sits in the turn you make onto waterside dr on your right hand side. the street right after the church on your right. When making your way down that stretch of road, you cannot see him at all due to trees bushes, shades. He hides far back into that turn where his presence is not seen but he can see you all the way down the road and before you even notice him, you are directly infront of him going way over 35 which is the speed limit. I see it all the time
Sandy Lake Road between Macarthur Blvd and I-35
There are speedtraps around the bridge. There is a radar that sits in the Sandy Lake Rehab parking lot as well.
