State Highway 300 near FM 1844

East Mountain, TexasMar 31, 20080 Comments

As you top the hill on Hwy 300 the speed limit is decreased from 60/70 to 55 to 40 (which is posted on the highway, not on a sign) at the red light at FM 1844. If you get a green light and keep going, East Mt. Police will chase you, even though once they cross the county line they are out of their jusidiction. Since they only have weekend cops, late night weekends are the worst.
