Farmers Branch, Texas Speed Traps

One or two motorcycle policemen locate about 1 block South of Garden Brook on Marsh watching the north bound traffic on Marsh. They use radar guns.

Police car or SUV parked on side streets or in parking lots between Josey Ln and I-35E also between I-35E and Alma. Police officer just waiting for cars speeding above posted speed. Laser used most of the time.

Police sit about a mile north of I-635 looking for northbound traffic during rush hours, and southbound traffic after hours. They are very aggressive on this 6-lane road with a 35 mile an hr speed limit! This intersection is less than a mile from Addison City limits.

5pm to 7pm half block north of Valley View Lane on Marsh Lane. (this is just outside the Farmers Branch police station and the JP complex)

The Farmers Branch police quit patroling north bound Marsh Lane from Valley View Lane, so feel free to drive over the posted limit of 35mph. I’d say at least 70.
