Frisco, Texas Speed Traps
Legacy Drive near Stonebriar Drive
Frisco Police SUV is often parked in a left-turn lane, waiting for speeders going downhill toward the low spot near part of Stonebriar Country Club. Usually at night, although observations have been made in the very morning (before morning commute times).
Stonebrook Parkway near FM 423
This is a new road for Frisco and the speeds very from 30-35-40. This is an apparent cash cow from them right now. Be careful with the speeds varying up and down. They prey on this.
West Bound Main Street Street near 200 yards West of Spur 33 Road
Frisco PD sits in the Babtist Church parking lot facing the West bound lanes of Main Street 200 yards West of the Main Fire Station at Spur 33 and they are hidden by a residential fence until it is too late to slow down. Speed limit on this stretch of Main St. was 40 mph when the street was 2 lane. Now that it is 4 lane, they dropped the speed limit down to 35 mph.
Warren Road near Just North of Preston Road
Frisco Police sit in Self Storage or Church parking lot and ticket all those in excess of 40 mph limit. Not heavily traveled street but well policed.
Coit Road near North Rolater Drive
Travelling either north or south on Coit Rd north of N. Rolater the posted speed is 45 mph. It is also a school zone and the limit drops to 20 mph during posted hours. Be very careful of your speed at all times. Frisco PD obscurely camp out in the parking lot of the school and they will bust you even if you are going 5 mph over the limit outside of the posted school zone hours when the limit is 45 mph. They are there all hours of the day with radar.
