Interstate 30 near Rose Hill Road

Garland, TexasSep 11, 20070 Comments

Officer parked on the east bound side of I-30 right under the Rose Hill Bridge. But is clocking them further up I-30 towards Beltline. I have seen them pull over many people as I live close by ans pass him a lot. I have also seen him after pulling someone over park on the west bound side under the same bridge and clock some one going down west bound I-30.

North Shiloh Road near Campbell Road

Garland, TexasSep 05, 20070 Comments

Proceeding South on Shiloh there is a bridge with a bend in it after you cross Campbell Road. A Garland PD unmarked car parks in the neighborhood that is west of Shiloh (usually a maroon Impala) and clocks you coming off the bridge which is also at the bottom of a hill. You carry a few extra MPH going down hill and that is where they zone in on. The trap is between Cambell Road and Beltline on Shiloh – usually southbound is what they are trapping.

Saturn Road near Northwest Highway

Garland, TexasAug 31, 20070 Comments

Motorcop parks by concrete fence at the convenience store halfway between NW Hwy and Kingsley Road. Usually catches speeders heading north, but sometimes catches southbound speeders. The speed limit is 35mph, but the road is five lanes wide (two each direction and a center painted turn lane). It’s easy to get going too fast. Most tickets are written for driving in excess of 10mph over the limit, but some may have been slower; especially in the school zone at Caldwell Elementary
