East Jefferson Blvd.

Watch out for the constables on East Jefferson between Belt Line and Loop 12. They usually position themselves in the middle of the road in a turning lane and many times work in pairs spread a few hundred yards apart.

Watch your speed just past MacArthur Blvd. Occasionally a city cop positions himself on the apex of the onramp from MacArthur and he is running a laser.

New Stretch of 161

Grand Prairie, TexasJun 21, 20100 Comments

Usually around 7:30 – 8:15am a motorycycle officer sits around the curve in the nothrbound lane of 161 about 2 miles before the 183 exit watching for speeders. The state just put the speed limit signs up about a month ago. Before that, it seemed like it was a free for all. The speed limit is 70 and I don’t recommend going over. You will get caught. I have seen one every morning for 2 weeks now.

Hwy. 360 Northbound between E. Broad St. and Ragland Rd.

Grand Prairie, TexasFeb 10, 20100 Comments

Although you think you’re in Mansfield this section is within GP city limits. There is a crest in the road approximately half a mile north of E. Broad St. I’ve seen GP police running radar there numerous times.
