Grand Prairie, Texas Speed Traps
Roy Orr Blvd
North from NE Carrier Pkwy about 1.5 miles. Just as you round a curve north bound in the median or at the car wash next to Conoco Station.
I-20 Eastbound – Service Road at Great Southwest Exit
As you are coming over the hill at Indicott Drive on the service road (eastbound on I-20) right in front of the car dealership, a cop will be standing on the concrete pillar sign shooting radar/laser. Several officers will be writing tickets to several different cars at one time. One will be on a bike waiting to “run down”” anyone who doesn’t pull over as directed by another officer who is flagging down motorists who the cop on the pillar is telling him to flag down. Be very careful anywhere in Arlington/ Grand Prairie.”
I-30 westbound prior to the Beltline exit
I saw a suspicious looking camera raised up aiming at oncoming traffic. I had never seen this prior to 8/20/02. The location of the camera was just before the MacArthur exit. After traveling approximately .5 miles further west, I noticed 2 motorcycle cops, one already pulled over someone, the other was already driving my direction to pull me over before I even saw him. I don’t think he actually got me with a gun. Speed limit they said is 60, that’s a joke. First time I have ever seen 1 cop through there in over 2 years.
Roy Orr (at the Citgo gas station)
officer hides behind some crepe myrtlesin front of the station or in a turn around. He clocks mostly northbound traffic, but can catch you from either direction.
State HW 360 Service road between Green Oaks and Post & Paddoc
Will have motorcycle cops sitting in office complex parking lot behind the trees. Also sit in Office Depot parking lot, tries to blend in with the employee cars parked in the lot, at the second entrance of lot. Will also sit in Bank parking lot by the trees.
