59 North Before 610 Overpass

Houston, TexasOct 08, 20140 Comments

There will be two ghost cops on either side. One black Camaro on the right and one white Camaro on the left. The cars look stalled but they are actually cops. They are there sometimes after 5 o’clock on weekdays and sometimes on the weekend. Same thing if going 59 South.

Shepherd between I10 on the north one way before 11th

Houston, TexasOct 08, 20140 Comments

Traveling north on Shepherd from I10 and just as you crest the hill there is often an officer in the business park on the left or in the Kroger parking lot. 10/7/2014 he was obviously using radar before the overpass as he was in the street waiting and waved off myself and another car and specifically went for a third driver behind us. It is a 35 mile zone and gets a lots of ticket business. I have been stopped there in years past so I had already slowed down to 40…I have seen more than one car operating in that lot in the past.

610 South, westbound

Houston, TexasOct 08, 20140 Comments

Always be careful on the overpasses on 610 South, to the west of 288. The cops sit on the left shoulder and wait to catch people speeding over the humps because you can’t see them until it’s too late. There are usually 2-3 along that highway on weekday mornings after traffic dies down.

speed limit is 30, and they usually hide behind the big trees in the center medians and around the corners. now they are on motorcycles. there is a radar in the middle of the area too that will blink if you go over 30.
