Two officers are stationed on the corner, with radar guns turned toward northbound traffic. As the traffic approaches, they step out into the street, demand that all cars stop, and “select” one to pull over and get a ticket.

About once a month, usually on a Friday between 5:00PM and 7:00PM, four or five officers with hand held Lidar standing in the last break in the median.
They are hidden by trees in the median and step out to stop speeders coming down Wescott towards Memorial.
