Houston, Texas Speed Traps
There’s an intersection in Bacliff, Texas where cops hide behind a fence and ticket anyone who’s front wheels stop on top of the wide white line that is beside all stop signs. The fence creates a blockage and you have to pull forward that much to see around it. When you do, the cop sees you and tickets you. But, the local judge says the fence can stay where it is. The small community of Bacliff depends on traffic citations for a large percentage of it’s revenue.
