The speed limit on Birchridge is 20 MPH and is posted because there is school on the far side of the shopping center (1/4 mile or so away). There is a Humble Officer who sets in the Pet Smart store lot and nails folks comming from the feeder onto Birchridge. I work in an office complex on Birchridge and about half the folks in the office have been stopped for going over 20.

Cops like to sit at various parking lots at various times of day to watch for speeders, but they also like to patrol the on-ramps to 59 and pull people over here. They usually leave you alone, but if you get pulled over they might exaggerate your speed. This has happened to numerous of my friends and family. Watch the posted limits on the feeders!

500 Atascocita Road

Speed limit drops from 45 mph to 35 mph in a very short distance. Police car is ready and waiting. Officer had his lights on before I even passed him. I slowed down enough so that he could exit his parking spot ahead of me. I still got busted big time.
