Northbound I35E using unmarked black SUV, active on Saturday May 21, 2016

My daughter was speeding. We have no beef with the fact that she was given a ticket. HOWEVER, every time we call the Municipal Court Clerk we get an answering machine. We have called numerous times and left messages. They are never returned. As a result of the non communication (and an initial lost ticket) our daughter is now being served for Failure to Appear. AND STILL the Court Clerk refuses to answer or respond to calls. Very unprofessional and unethical town. Avoid it.

I35 North and South

There is NO reason why I35 is NOT 75 mph on the strecth of highway that passes through this town. You can see for miles, there is minimal amount of traffic entering and leaving the highway, and the traffic on the roadway flows well. The only reason it is 65 is so they can make enough money to keep the town a town. I was in the right hand lane keeping pace with a truck in front of me while other traffic was passing in the left hand lane. When we came over a hill I saw the police on the right shoulder. He lit it up but i assumed it was for someone in the lane of cars passing me. Nope, he pulled me over. If that was not bad enough, now trying to deal with the public “servant” at the municipal court has just compounded the problem. I go up that highway routinely on trips to Dallas and will NEVER stop there for gas or food or anything else for that matter.

I-35 E (North/South of Italy)

Italy, TexasJan 27, 20100 Comments

The city of Itay, Texas has annexed exactly One mile on I-35 E which they “milk” relentlessly. Fortunately construction is finished and there is greater visibility to the motorist to see patol units. They liken the Interstate to a slot machine, constantly pulling the “lever” (motorist) for the pay off. Write the Mayor.
