Interstate 35 near Belt Line Road

Lancaster, TexasMay 04, 20070 Comments

Lancaster PD heavily covers the area between Belt Line Road and Danieldale Road. Both sides, they have lots of places to hide and use a variety of vehicles (all very new, including Mustangs and F-150 pickups as well as Crown Victorias). They also work with Dallas Sheriffs Department deputies. The speed limit is 60MPH; do Not go too much over. Depending on the day, you may get by going 70; others they nail you for 61. But anytime, over 70? Get your wallet out.

Heading west on Lancaster-Hutchins Rd when the speed limit changes from 50 th 35. As you come in the wharehouse district there will be a police car sitting in the ditch just after Bilco Brick on the leFort I work in this area and see this guy almost everyday. The speed limit is way too low for this area and of course they take advantage of it.
