Purnell street Street near Edmonds and Summit
On Purnell street going east between Summitt and Edmonds (just south of Main street). THERE IS NO SPEED LIMIT SIGN FACING EAST UNTIL AFTER PASSING EDMONDS. There is quite a distance where you can’t see the sign until almost on top of Edmonds. The street has no houses facing it, so it looks like Valley parkway, a 35 mph road. The limit is 25mph although you have no way of knowing unless you go west on Purnell as well. Cop likes to sit in one of the side streets and run out at you.
Corporate Drive near Interstate 35E
Cop will sit on side rd off East Corporate drive heading towards I35. Same cop and will look for anything else to give you a ticket for.
State Highway Business Hwy 121 near Round Grove Road
Police car faces on-coming traffic on Business Hwy 121 (as you enter Lewisville – northbound) under the bridge of the Round Grove Rd. overpass. Occasionally he’ll sit completely out of site on the elevated entrance ramp to Business Hwy 121 (before the Round Grove Rd. overpass) — same basic location and get cars from behind.
Mill Street near Justin Road
Motorcycle cop sits either on top of the levee in one of the small cutouts off the road or in the entranceway to the lake maintenance center on the west side of the road between the levee and Justin road. Often there during the evening commute. Will stop for slightly over the limit (5 mph), no mercy.
East Main Street near Past Mill Street
Police cars are usually sitting in church parking lot on right before you get to Rail Road tracks.
