Policeman in approaching lane & coming at you decides you
are speeding, makes a u-turn & chases you down. You find
yourself dumbfounded because you’re sure you weren’t speeding. How do you go to court to dispute the findings?
Isn’t the policeman always right? This happens regularly on
Highway 80 with the Martindale police. How do you contact
their town attorney to protest these unfair practices which
have been going on too long & reported by many motorists? The townspeople themselves are aware that this has been going on & have complained, but obviously nothing has been done to date. Isn’t this giving the town & their police force a bad name? Don’t they care? There have been a number
of similar comments on this website attesting to the shady
practices of the Martindale police. They should take heed.

Town is just a gas station but cops are always out with radar waiting for unsuspecting motorists. Speed is set unrealistically slow at 55 then slows to 50. There are no houses or people in town – only cops. Beware!

Local police will typically drive back and forth on Hwy 80 and get incoming traffic on the finges of town with instant on, inflight radar. Be sure to slow down before the speed limit goes to 55. Then it will go to 50 closer in town. Very tricky because there isn’t really any “town”” when it goes to 55. The officers won’t cut you any slack and will ask you the obligatory “”emergency”” question even if you are barely above the spee limit.”
