cop will sit at the bottom of the bridge as you are shooting down and shoot your car with his radar gun. Speed limit on the bridge is 50 (of all things) and of course everyone is going faster and he can pick and choose.

Careful on Crenshaw during school-zone hours. The speed limit changes SEVEN times (45-20-45-20-45-40-30-20) on this road between the Beltway and Shaver.

Very often, police officers will wait hidden in Pasadena Memorial High School’s lot, a side street, Teague Elementary’s Lot, the Technical School’s lot, or the Fire Department’s lot. They’re quite hard to see and are concealed by bushes/building structures much of the time.

Interestingly, no school lines up with the first school zone (going from Beltway 8 towards Shaver). Additionally, the longer school zone runs FAR past Teague Elementary, to a seemingly comical extent.

Going over the bridge, the constables will be at the base of the hill.

Motorcycle cop, he’s waiting with his radar in the shade of the overpass, right at the Greenshadow U-turn. Sometimes he is further down, hiding on one of the residential streets on the other side of the road.

Bay Area Park on Bay Area Blvd. this is technically Pasadena City Limits and Pasadena Cops hide inside the park fence line and radar oncoming traffic. They had FOUR cars pulled over today when I drove past.
