N bound 75 near the Mckinney border

Plano, TexasJan 20, 20030 Comments

All I know is that usually after it gets dark, there is always 2 ummarked officers in dark blue crown vitorias. They sit in the grass median seperating the north and south bound lanes. Due to the fact that usually there is terrible street lighting that far up 75 Central, you rarely can see them just waiting. I have caught twice and I never saw them.

Plano Parkway & Preston Rd. (of the grass between Plano Pkwy E & W)

Plano, TexasDec 17, 20020 Comments

This is a SPeed Trap/Red Light Trap. Enforcement is constant. I watch 5 to 10 cars get pulled over every 1 to 2 hours. This is mostly when going North on Preston, but he sits in the middle of Plano Pkwy E & S on the grass and watches everyone, so he could be pulling more people than what I see over. Beware, if the light is yellow, stop. And stay the speed limit.

independence parkway between plano parkway and 15th street

one police officer dressed in civilian clothes doing radar and approx 6 officers on foot flagging violators down and issuing tickets. Just in case you don’t feel the necessity to stop they do have two motorcycle cops to help you with your decision.

Spring Creek near Rainier

Plano, TexasOct 05, 20020 Comments

Aplies from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM and 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM. This a school zone. After the intersection of Spring Creek and Rainier (going west), the school zone continues. They are hidden behind a curve on a side street just before the end on the unnessarily long school zone, where most people are likely to speed.
