Royse City, Texas Speed Traps

The Royse City P.D. sit in the driveway to the Sports Complex. As you drive West ( to Rockwall ), they have a "Trap" that goes from 30 to 35 to 45 MPH. Careful, the Royse City P.D. will "stroke" you between the 35 MPH and 45 MPH sign…Why? your looking at the 45 MPH sign but you have missed the very short 35 MPH Zone ( 50 feet ). When you go above the posted 35 MPH Zone Royse CIty will "get Ya" ! That’s ok, I’ll NEVER shop in Royse City again….

If you’re one mile over the speed limit, Suspicious (as in not from here), don’t stop for the count of 3,(They need to see your tire treads), don’t have a blinker on, one tag light out, too dark of windows, they are in a bad mood, Just visit this fair city and contribute to its budget woes. They pay the officers well….

Interstate 30 near Pilot Truck Stop
State Trooper and Locals hide in overgrown grassy areas, service roads, and on side roads connected to the service road as well as just over the the overpass on either side of the Interstate. Moderate to Heavy enforcement, but they are very hidden.
