Speed traps are set up with a motorcycle cop at the Kirkwood on ramp or a little further down radaring on coming vehicles that are speeding and dispatching those vehicles to six cops waiting at the next signal light and pulling those vehicles over and issuing citations.

Just inside the city limits, a small, 2-lane country road coming off of 114 (a 4-lane hwy under construction) the obvious safe speed should be 40-45 mph. The posted speed is 30. The reason? “The speed limit on all streets (not including state highways) in Southlake is 30 mph”” “
