The Woodlands, Texas Speed Traps

Travelling east on Woodlands Parkway about a mile east of Kuykendahl there was a patrol car hiding on the side of the road around a curve with Instant On Radar. This is a new spot for patrol cars, part of the new higher budget recently approved. The speed traps are very mobile so you need to watch it Everywhere in The Woodlands.

Law enforcement officers park behind the heavily wooded areas of the medians (between 242 and Woodlands Pkwy) at various times. The 35 mph stretch between Research Forest Dr and Woodlands Pkwy is a frequently targeted area for local law enforcement.

Going east on lake woodlands drive where north shore park is, there is a bridge over the lake and on the other side of the bridge a police officer is always there. Very close to the Big church there and 24 hours fitness gym. I see cars pulled over there daily on my way to and from work.

While I haven’t been ticketed there because my office is at this intersection, I frequently see police parked on either side of the bridge catching speeders coming off the bridge.
