Webster, Texas Speed Traps

Unit will sit in Auto Parts Store Parking lot to disquise and hide vehicle. Faces on-coming traffic. Office will claim to use radar but declines to show speed on the unit.

Webster Police Unit will sit in the middle turning lane on facing the top of a bridge crossing Clear Creek. When vehicles crest the bridge, the unit is visible.

Police Unit will sit on private property parking lots or parking lots of businesses to hide their presence. Webster Police have the ability to turn traffic signals from green to red from a electronic device insdie their vehicle.

There is a school zone Just West of Hwy 3 on Nasa Rd one. The normal speed of 40-45 drops to 20 and they patrol this area every morning Rush hour and Evening Rush Hour. I don’t agree with speeding through the school zone, but there is a fence and a large field seperating the school from the road, and this particular school zone is nothing more than a rush hour speed trap to catch unsuspecting motorists.

This is a four lane divided highway and the speed limit is 30 MPH all the way. I see Webster Police every morning and evening rush hour. There is also school zone just east of the railroad tracks. Speed limit there drops to 20. The school is well seperated from the road and there is little need for the limit to be this low. 30 mph would be low enough. This entire road is one big speed trap to catch commuters during rush hour. Many commuters take this route to and from NASA and its contractors.
