Weimar, Texas Speed Traps

Heading generally south, the city speed limit of 40 becomes 55. A rotund bad tempered cop sits in a depression not easily seen heading out of town. If you increase your speed to 55 even a few feet before the sign, they ticket you and add a few mpg on top of your actual speed, to increase the cost of the ticket…thus 50 in a 40 about 150 feet before the sign became 55 in a 40 or $225 cost. All the time the lady cop looked like she’d gladly pull her weapon.
