Delta, Utah Speed Traps
Speed limit drops from 60 to 40, then to 30 a hundred yards later as the road begins to bend. The deputy parks in the shade on the right.
Sharp dip crossing Sevier River is sure to need some brakes…. the deputy is running radar from the bridge.
Sheriff will be parked in the drive through at Zions Bank or across the street with his radar ready! Seen there several times. Typically in the very early mornings.
County sheriff runs all along US 50 in white Dodge pickups. This is a wonderful road to speed on, just beautiful. Your detector will give you plenty of warning, but on this road you may have to slow down by 30-50 mph very quickly to be close to the limit, so that works out to a lot less warning in practice. Be wary of ridges, hills and curves through here, you should slow down for those anyway.
