Helper, Utah Speed Traps

There is a Helper Police Officer who parks on HWY 6 and likes to pull people over entering the Helper City limits. The speed limit is 55 MPH.

They routinely sit on the North side of the hiway at the West end of town. The limit is 55 through the Port of Entry but it’s downhill into town and easy to pick up speed. On the East end of town they sit in the median, obscured from view by barriers and can monitor traffic approaching town or picking up speed as they round the curve to exit town with the 65 mph limit further down the road.
