There is a school buried south of this location, but in July when school is out Midvale will turn on the yellow crossing light and issue tickets when there are no schools in session to bolster their coffers. A man carrying a video camera will hide nearby and take video. Is this legal?

700 West (Midvale Main Street) Between 9000 S. & 7800 S.

If you are heading from 9000 S. traveling Northbound you will head up a hill leaving Sandy and arriving in Midvale. Do not drive above 30 MPH because there is a young cop who uses this stretch to meet his quota. He will wait just across the city line and pulls people over for as little as 2 MPH over. Remember, Midvale city is full of dirty cops so don’t tempt them.

Midvale and West jordan Police sit on the West Jordan side (Right next to Gardner Village) on the west side of the bridge in the little parking lot to the west of the building(Gardner Village). If you are coming from Midvale to West Jordan the Midvale officers make a easy target out of you because the speed limit changes right there and you are going down hill. I didn’t even have my foot on the gas and got a ticket for 7 miles over the limit. I have seen them there on a daily bases and always see some one pulled over between the hours of 5pm and 7pm
