Black Ridge Drive near 1700 South Street
The speed limit is posted at 35 MPH on Black Ridge Drive and as we all know, 35 MPH is the hardest…well you get the idea. There are currently no residential or commercial structures that directly align this drive. If you are heading south watch out for the local law enforcement that use 1700 S. to hide. How else would Saint George city pay for this new road?
Mall Drive near Mortuary
A group of cop cars will sit in the parking lot in front of the mortuary on the south end of Mall Drive, and get you with laser. I know this because I have a radar/laser detector, and this is the second time they have used laser on me. Luckily I had been obeying the speed limit at those times because laser is fast, and gives them an instant reading of your speed. With radar, you have Some warning.
River Road near 2330 south Street
Police sit in the fire station driveway at the corner of River rd. and 2330 South. Usually there around 9 AM. Speed limit is 40 yet most people travel at 50.
Interstate 15
from st george to richfield the state has 15 troopers from salt lake city there to heavly trap the interstate and catch as many speeders as posible
