Officers sit just before you arrive at 9th East heading West. 9th South is a bit steep (coming from the Eastbench) & you are forced to ride your breaks. The speed limit was changed to a moronic 25MPH! Beware – the THEY will be eagerly awaiting your arrival!

SLC Police on motorcycles and in cars. Usually two or three units. This is a construction zone. Beware!!! The speed zone goes from standard 45 mph to 35 mph and then quickly to 25 mph. Fines are doubled!!! Cops here everyday.

Southbound Beck Street at about 1300 North

Salt Lake City, UtahFeb 01, 20100 Comments

Most active around the end of the month. The police usually wait until rush hour winds down (usually about 9:30 or 10:00). They use laser guns and target vehicles at the front of a group of vehicles. The speed limit drops from 50 mph to 45 mph and they will grab you if you don’t slow down Quickly (you have a very short distance to see the sign and slow your speed).

West Temple Street near 900 South Road

Salt Lake City, UtahSep 23, 20080 Comments

Heading south on West Temple right after 900 South heading to the on ramp to I-15 is 2 motor cycle officers that sit just after passing the 7-11 on the right hand side of the road. Make sure you don’t speed up for the on ramp until you pass the light and are on the ramp.
