Along any of the north side of E 9000 S neighborhood roads an officer will sit and tag both east and west bound drivers.
Bell Canyon Rd & Wasatch Blvd
Cop parks in the condo entry on the West (south bound) or in the Bell Canyon trail head lot, north bound.
700 West – Riverside Drive near 9400 South Street
It is rather common for a member of the Sandy City PD to park in the parking lot of the River Oaks Golf Course to catch people exceeding the posted 30 mph speed limit. There is a new wall from the townhouse development that hides the patrol car even more effectively. Anyone going 35 mph and over can expect to receive a citation.

9400 South Road near Green Street
Off of 9400 So. by the new Walmart heading west. Cops like to park on the North side of the street. Just before 7th East.

700 East Street near Skate Park parking lot
The Sandy Police will sit in the parking lot of the community center next to the skate park and radar as you go by. I drive this route probably 4 times a day, 6 days a week and I see the trap a few times per week.
