From 300 West to 1700 West, this recently expanded state highway had it’s speed limit REDUCED by 10 miles an hour, even though two railroad crossings are now avoided by new bridges and the road has been expanded from two lanes to four lanes with a nice center divider.

Motorcycle cops will be camping near the sidewalks looking for speeders near this curve.

400 south in front of Intermountain Health Clinic.

I’ve seen police units on many occasions gunning right in front of the intermountain health clinic, sometimes more than one, pulling over people going both east and west bound. Speed limit is 45 and drops to 35 going over the hill into town and vice versa.

2 guys in cars like to target older people or cute young girls. They pull over the victim over (for going "1 mile over limit"–seriously), then stride up to vehicle, unclip their guns, etc & act real tough. Call you by your first name, like to intimidate "Whatcha think you’re doin back there Bill?". Also like to take their time writing ticket– 20+ minutes on my uncle. We’d gone to mail a letter, and they ‘claimed’ his inspection sticker was missing. It wasn’t. He stopped & then they started looking for anything– seatbelts, tires conditions, etc. Delayed him 20 minutes. Next day he saw the same guy & his partner scaring the crap out of a high school girl in a VW bug. Local yokels with waaaay too much time & power! (Stop watching "Dukes of Hazzard" & head over to the Interstate for tickets please!)
