West Valley, Utah Speed Traps

They wait for you to come down over the hill from 4700 S. towards 4100 S. and towards 3500 S. They sit in the median and are usually two motorcycle cops. ALWAYS out on Sunny days.

Two West Valley Moto Cops sitting on the South Side of the Road on the sideway at the entrance of Eimco. Using Laser they are sighting targets coming down the "hill" in the eastbound lanes. Speed limit is 35 mph.

There is currently road construction on Decker Lake Drive and the local police have been setting up almost daily speedtraps by parking their motorcycles either in the median or in one of the office building parking lots. They are usually set up during morning and evening rush hours.

Cops very often sit on the east side of 2200 West about 3900 South and catch people going over 30mph with radar. they are often hard to see from a distance because of the trees close by. this is enforced very regularly. beware

the motorcycle cops sit behind the speed limit sign so you can’t see them until its too late. Do the speed limit as soon as you turn North off 3500 S onto Constitution blvd or they’ll get you everytime!
