Poultney, Vermont Speed Traps
East Poultney Thrall Road
The Gorge bridge in East Poultney has undergone some changes and now has a stop sign on both sides of the bridge. Thrall Road off of Rt 30 coming into the town of East Poultney is being monitored for speeders and non-stoppers. The bridge was the site of a pedestrian death a few years back and now has pedestrian safety zones on both sides of the bridge.
VT Rt. 30 near Ward Rd. & Saltis Rd.
The officer, State Police or Constable sits facing Northbound typically in a pulloff just South of the Intersection of Ward and Saltis Roads. The Delaware & Hudson Rail Trail also crosses VT Rt. 30 near here. This is a 50 mph zone. When you see the police car or suv, its probably too late.
