State Route 132 near State Route 132
This stretch of road is posted 35 mph. It is a ridiculously low speed limit for this rural long and winding downhill state route. It is nearly impossible to keep your vehicle at 35 mph on this part of the road. The county sheriffs sit at a pull-off during morning and evening commutes and issue lots of tickets to otherwise law-abiding and respectable citizens.
State Route 132 near Beaver Meadow Road
Going west on Rt. 132, after passing Beaver Meadow Road, the speed limit drops to 35 MPH on a series of steep downhills before you reach the bottom of 132 where it intersects with I-89. You must break continuously to keep within the speed limit. Sheriff hides just below drops so you won’t see the trap until it is too late.
