State Route 7
Going North on Route 7, speed changes from 40 to 30 due to construction. Change occurs just past Modern Design furniture store and at Sirloin Saloon restaurant. At night, Shelburne police will follow closely to try to get you to go faster and if you are caught, they will exagerate your speed. Even if you momentarily go a bit fast, even if you were going 40, increased it for five seconds and dropped back down to 40 in the 40 zone, they will get you. You are more vulnerable if you drive an older vehicle because they think they can get you for multiple offenses.
